The line at Target was long…..black friday long….and dark….and cold. But everyone was in good spirits! 2 Day Sale! These doors to Target were closed, meaning the line stretched down to the further doors. Good safety measure, but a little disappointing to realize the line kept going. The coffee inside sure looks warm and refreshing from the outside.

Crowds! For it being midnight it is safe to say that Target was busy. This Black Friday I learned something….the games pulled forward and you can get the game from behind. I am not sure if this was just for BF or all the time. I need to follow up! So many people! Shopping with cell phones is a sign of the times. It’s like a virtual shopper! (Read More)

Making lists before heading to the store. Checking out the ads to figure out what they want. So many ads… so many gift ideas. Where to start price comparing? Our teen girls grab the lists & begin looking for the best deals in the ads. A little online shopping before we head to the stores.

Cars were lined up everywhere trying to find a parking spot. It is a little after 9pm and the sale starts at 10pm. There were already several people hovering around the items they wanted. The lady in white grabbed a toy for us & my hubby grabbed one elsewhere for her. The toy pallets were easily packaged so we could see where to wait. (Read More)

Thanksgiving – not only a time for giving thanks and a delicious meal, but time to prepare for some serious shopping! After gorging on turkey, I took a nice, long nap, so I’d have enough energy for midnight shopping. I fuel up on coffee and browse the ciruculars, making a game plan. I load up my “must-haves” on my BFAds app to help me stay on track. Put on super-comfy walking shoes …. and rouse my brother to come along for the ride.

Target is first on our list. This stick-vac is what I’m after. It will be a little Christmas gift for me. But the line was super long! Actually, we had to walk 10 minutes to get to the end of the line. A $9 stick-vac wasn’t worth the wait. So we head over to Kohl’s instead. (Read More)

Thanksgiving is here! Time for family, great food, and it means tomorrow (tonight, really) is Black Friday Power Shopping! Time for some crafts and…pre-Shopping Planning; timing is everything on BF.

Arrival at Target – the parking lot is jam-packed. No line, Target opened at midnight and I’m arriving at close to 2 am. Medium size crowd – Cute decorations! No carts *frown*. In just a few minutes more carts arrive, and they go fast! When you first walk in, employee tells you how long the wait for checkout is. 50 minutes. (Read More)
