Sifting through Black Friday ads and Wal-Mart Black Friday ad online. There are no words to describe the spectacle of our local WalMart parking lot on Thanksgiving night. They started their Black Friday sales at 10 pm that night. Apparently, it worked out well for them. Our community of around 6000 citizens filled the parking lot, every single space and then began parallel parking around the outer perimeter of the parking lot. When there was no room to do that any more, people parked their cars in the grass around the parking lot.
My daughter and son-in-law immediately went to the back of the store where the shrink-wrapped display of kids’ bikes were ready for the 10 o’clock starting bell. Notice that there was also another mom who already had her hand on a box to ensure she would get one when the sale started. (Read More)
